What is an Origin Story member?

An Origin Story Member is our version of a founding member; someone who believes in our vision as much as we do and supported it by purchasing a membership. There are only 100 Origin Story Memberships, and they come in three different tiers that can include extra perks. An Origin Story Member is recognized and rewarded during the lifetime of the store, under its current ownership. No annual fees, no expiration—just perks.

What does becoming an Origin Story Member mean for Immersia?

This program will aid Immersia in raising funds to help making opening day a reality. Our goal is to raise $10,000. Our membership tiers have been broken down into options that give everyone a chance to participate while ensuring that we can still deliver meaningful value to our members.

Our concept requires higher starting capital than the average indie bookstore and the money raised through this program will help with:

  • Opening-day inventory
  • Décor and design
  • Speeding up our coffee bar roll-out timeline

If you miss out on purchasing a membership but would still like to support us, you can do so by:

Purchasing a gift card and using it after opening day.

If you purchase a gift card before April 30, 2026 and wait until at least two weeks after opening day, we will gift you bonus Plot Points upon redemption.

o   500 Plot Points for $100 gift cards.

o   250 Plot Points for $50 gift cards.

Supporting our pop-ups.

We will be hosting pop-ups between now and opening day. Coming out to one and checking us out is a huge support and greatly appreciated.

What Happens if Opening Day Never Comes?

In the case we fail to launch, all memberships will be refunded.

Our goal is to open by late spring/early summer of 2027. Our hard deadline is June 30, 2027. If the deadline is missed, memberships will be refunded to the method of payment used within ten business days of the deadline.
